Clarification/Update

Item #25 - Anything in The Guinness Book of Records*

By oversight, we forgot to ask for a link to the GBoR website to support the entry.

But - what we’ve discovered is that the GBoR website search is the biggest pile of :poop: that ever existed.

So - we’ve bounced alternatives around and come up with the following requirement …

– Must be supported by … Either a link to the entry in the Guinness Book of Records website … OR … links to three unrelated news media articles stating that it had been recognised by the Guinness Book of Records.

Hopefully this doesn’t ruin any plans anyone had … but in fact it probably makes it a lot easier, as it happens.

If you’re registered, the advanced search is actually quite good :+1:

Seconded.

I registered today in an attempt to find the link to my entry for item 25 - Amesbury being accepted into the GBoWR as the oldest continually inhabited area in the UK.

I had taken the picture on the basis of the various reports from reasonably reputable sources:

BBC News

The Council for British Archaeology

The Guardian

History.com

Stonehenge and Amesbury Druids

and the less reputable

Daily Mail online

Thirded. Totally impossible to find records that I know exist.

Potentially - 47 points can be had in that time.

Anyone still looking for a split screen VW?, will be plenty up here in Norfolk this weekend at “The Pigs” !.
