This photo was taken in the early afternoon on Sunday, and is Colemere Vineyard, near Ellesmere in Shropshire. After planting their vines seven years ago, 2020 was due to be the year they finally started selling some wine. Covid has caused delays in bottling, but you can still sign up for six bottles as a Friend of the vineyard for (just) £120 per year.
And this is me drinking a glass of wine at the vineyard, although one of Sainsbury’s cheapest, not one of Colemere’s own!
