One of the better drone signs I’ve seen.

Who’s inspecting ID’s and for what purpose ?

I would think its a member of the Helix staff that would be asking to ensure your flying within the requirements of their land and the CAA drone code.

Small price to pay in order to be able to fly at this location - its one of very few locations that openly welcome drone pilots and if its just to show that your CAA compliant I 100% welcome that. More places can learn from this.

Overall it makes flying at these type of places way safer as it means that pilots can be closer to the POI and ensure they have no issues in spotting hazards unlike pilots that take of from public land and fly over that may not see a cable or have quite the VLOS they expect to have.

Had my drone here several times at different times of day. Never been asked for ID yet. Seen others fly but never noticed anyone behaving unresponsibly. Lots of space and so long as there is not an event organised by Helix not usually any big crowds.
