Nice and brooding …

I loved my visit to The Kelpies as I had a whole week of wandering parts of Scotland with my DSLR - sadly, pre-drone days for me.

Here’s a small version of my main Kelpies shot so as hopefully to not detract from your post. I was (and am still) heavily into long exposures then.

I also popped down the road to the Falkirk Wheel and the baby/mini Kelpies they have (had?) there…

Have they changed their drone policy yet to include the likes of the Air 3s? They have signs around saying its OK to fly sub 250g drones as long as you fly in accordance of the drone code

Tbh I never actually noticed these signs if they where still there  I just sent the air 3s up and no one came over and asked or questioned it.

Wish I had looked around a bit more now so I could have answered your question but I certainly didn’t see any.

They “could” have removed them now the law has changed.

Either way if they did have them signs I would have them just flew from public land outside,

I did have my mini 4 pro as well so would have just used that instead of the air3s as I think it’s excellent they actually allow drones anyway, It’s probably one of the only places I have seen that physically say (yeah no problem you can fly here) So best to try stick to there rules I guess so they don’t get p*ssed off and stop people doing it from there land.

The limit (as of last year) was 500g according to the signs on site.

You can even see the sign in this post…
