Went back for some practice while i had the time twas windy but now i have questions since i got this new Avata my videos i’ve recorded seem to be split? My old Avata did not do this? @2:53 i have had to attempt to stitch them
I can’t seem to find anything obvious in the setting’s
I believe that’s pretty normal, I’ve not flown my Avata 2 since the visit to Chesterfield Bando (just after Xmas) and I seem to recall, that the video length is around 2.5 - 3.0 minutes.
Are you recording in 4K?
2K and yeah around them times guess its just something we will just have to put up with
I don’t own an avata one or two but I did have a similar issue with the DVR recording on my old wing after 10 minutes of flight the DVR would split into separate recordings. So I asked the question in an FPV discord server that I’m in and got this reply:
Not sure if this will help you or not but could be worth checking if the Avata has the same settings?
@BulletDodger might be due to this:
The file splitting is totally lossless. No frames are missing. Just run one straight into the next. #sorted
Have you reformatted the card in the drone or used one that was hanging about without checking the format? Reformat in the drone and you’ll always get optional formatting for the device.
@BulletDodger just looked back at all my old Avata2 footage and the filesize never gets past 3.5GB
Hadn’t noticed untill you mentioned it
