Inspired by the current RTF challenge, I re-routed my usual Monday cycle ride via St Hubert’s Church at Idsworth near Chalton in Hampshire in the South Downs. Armed with my Mavic Air and some reasonable weather for January, almost springlike ahead of the incoming storm later this week, I captured the video below and still shot submitted for the challenge. Just thought it might brighten someone’s January by sharing the video.
Great little church that - really enjoyed the video. Also liked your pic in the RTF challenge.
Thank you Jay
Good footage from the Mavic Air. I use one as a back up drone and it’s brill. Got a great camera on it.
Thank you Mick, appreciated, the Mavic Air seems more robust and less bulky for carrying around on the bike in a backpack than my Mini 3.
Great place to fly. Being a lover of steam trains I flew when a steam hauled train came through. Very evocative of a bygone era!
Wow, was that planned, i.e did you now the steam train was coming?
Yes. I keep a careful eye on the Rail Advent website for rail tours coming through the area and then on Real time trains for exact times. I’ve attached a still.
There’s one coming up here not sure if your near or far from it the Flying Scotsman
Peterborough’s a bit far for me I’m near Chichester.
Thank you, I’ll keep an eye open!
