Hello all fellow pilots!!

I had a sad day a few weeks ago when I just missed catching the last ocean going Paddle Steamer on Earth, The PS Waverley, as she departed Tilbury Port. Fast forward a week or two and after a great days ship catching and on the last flight of the day she came back in to dock for the evening - and conditions were perfect.

Built in 1946 and launched in 1947 she is now plying the coast of the UK under the care of a the supporting charity which keeps her going with passenger cruises. Decked out in her original 1947 livery she’s a thing of beauty and harks back to a simpler time.
