Short edit of a recent fly round. Should have played around a bit more just to polish the edges & music .
Very good @Cheenix. Is that the Pass of Killicrankie at the beginning? I was at Queen’s View in February but even then, in snow, too many people around to put the drone up. I managed to get a bit of footage with the Osmo Pocket and a lot of photos so time wasn’t wasted. They day before we went there the staff had had to close up and dig themselves out of the car park to go home. The road on out towards Tummel Bridge was closed, and we had planned on walking Drummond Hill at Kenmore. We ended up going the long way round via Aberfeldy, that too wasn’t a waste, as we stopped at the chocolate place on the way.
That’s exactly where it was, wasn’t to busy at all and only a couple of people there . Have a fair amount of footage from around there as we were staying near Aberfeldy in one of the camp sites. Just need to find time to edit it down. Beautiful part of Scotland.
I was in Aberfeldy last week and got some nice footage of the waterfalls at The Birks, using Osmo pocket and camera. I’m not sure how the Mavic 2 would handle amongst all the overhanging trees, even in tripod mode, so I didn’t chance it. It’s a replacement for the Mavic Pro and only arrived the day before l set off for Scotland so I wasn’t going to take any chances until I’ve had a bit more practice with it.
Overhanging trees and drones don’t really mix .
Too right. It would make for great shots though.
