There a problem with the YouTube Title Parser?

Whilst it’s been a long time “bug bear/bare? (which is it?!)” of mine that the like buttons don’t appear on the embedded youtube videos, this one I think is new, and only noticed in last few days… The video titles aren’t appearing?

Just says “- Youtube”, maybe google changed the way that the API works or something? @PingSpike ?

Noticed it on my video last night, then a few more today so not specific to mine I don’t think

Hmm, hadn’t noticed this, saw a couple of vids on Drone Scene entries today that looked ok.

We’ll check it out and report back

Out of interest, was there anything unusual about your video?

Was it private or unlisted? Had it rendered before you posted it? Etc?

I did wonder whether it was unlisted when I posted it actually. But sure seen a few others with the same issue. Annoying.

Not as annoying as wishing the end of my video id switched the clips around. I should really sleep on edits before posting haha

My latest have been like this. Both public and unlisted.

Nothing is jumping out at me in the settings of the forum which might be causing this issue so I’ll open a bug report with Discourse and see if they can work out what’s going on.

Martin, Jez, permission to share a couple of your video links with Discourse please?

If so could you paste one listed and one unlisted url here for me?

Ta

I also randomly get ‘broken links’ in the preview. 2/4 of the above did this; first and last…

Edit: interesting, the two that showed broken links on preview are the two with no title.

How did you upload to YT ?

Through the app/web/via an editor ?

I always go through the webapp. I render, watch it a few times, then upload via the studio website on chrome.
