Oh, the thrill of a drone in flight,
Speeding through the air so light,
With propellers whirring loud,
It’s like music to my ears, a joyous crowd.
But when it goes too fast,
It’s like a rocket, built to last,
It zooms past birds and planes,
Leaving them all in its wakes.
It’s like a cheetah on the hunt,
Or a bat out of hell, it’s a stunt,
But watch out for that tree,
Or you’ll be picking pieces off of your knee.
It’s a wild ride, that’s for sure,
But be careful, or you’ll be a drone no more,
So fly high, fly fast, but don’t crash,
Or you’ll be left in a drone-shaped ash.
It’s like a rollercoaster ride,
But instead of screams, you’ll hear pride,
Of the pilot who flew it so high,
And didn’t crash it into the sky.
So let’s raise a glass,
To high speed drone flying, a class,
Of its own, and a real blast,
Until the battery dies, and it falls at last
