The A3 is now CLOSED in BOTH directions at Thursley. The fire has spread to the grass verge. Hindhead Tunnel is closed as a result. The division route is via the A31 and A287 twitter.com/SurreyRoadCops…

Units are on scene at a large vehicle fire on the A3 near Thursley. The southbound is currently CLOSED. Traffic on the northbound carriageway will also be significantly affected. @SurreyFRS are on scene.
