Tips for a new DJI Mini 3 owner

After flying many AUTEL drones, big and small for several years, I have now succumbed to buying a DJI… agggggh… Mini3 pro, needs must.
So I’m after any really good tips, what to watch out for, DJI exclusion Zones… whats that all about…? as I said I’ve been flying Autel drones for years but this is my first DJI, any hidden secrets, things not to do… etc etc… Cheers.

Generally, I’d suggest heading over to YouTube and watching lots of @ianinlondon videos.

This is a good one to start with

He had done many videos on the Mini 3 Pro from initial unboxing through optimal settings etc.
It’s a good start

Malc, I’m with you on the Autel thing been with them for years but work has recently given me a DJI Mini 3 Pro and an M30T.

I have to admit that I have actually been impressed with them both, I was hoping to hate them especially the Mini 3 as it’s direct competition for the Nano+.

Cheers Phil, I’ll post how I get on, Ive got the Nano + so can compare but this is for something specific… Cheers

I can say from experience that if you don’t regularly condition the batteries, they may become useless.

You might want to quantify that a bit in case @Malcy has not read your post

I bought a MAVIC PRO. Years ago. Bought loads of gear including 4 batteries. I moved house twice and am guilty of not conditioning the batteries. I stored them fully charged not realising that they would die.
Read you instructions regarding batteries. Oh boy do I wish I had.
