I might be missing something here, could you not record your own?
I’m sure he could make his own with some effort.
However I have noted on this site that many people have intros to videos that have obviously not been created by them. So there must be a source somewhere. Whether they are free or not is another matter.
Example? we can then ask them ;o)
Oh? I can’t say I’ve ever seen any
Can you @mention a few of those people to draw their attention to this thread (or as @milkmanchris suggests, point us to a few of those posts), they might be able to help @360_FPV out
Lol
I could make my own but wanted some decent footage.
If i use my own at this time my intro would be called Crash Test.
I may be wrong on my assumption, however I am referring to the intros to videos like this:
@bilbo Glasson locks etc.
it’s featured in the “latest” list.
The first few seconds look very slick and are probably beyond the capability of the average member.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
I’d say that’s home made.
Not difficult with the likes of Apple Motion (no idea about Windows alternatives)
Ai can also do these for you nowadays
Thanks for the update. Must admit Apple Motion is a new one on me. I will check it out.
Some lassie in the USA did part of mine - i.e. the clouds and the drone moving around, and the text.
I added to it with the visual effects - the swirling electrical vortex and electric explosion.
They were easy to add, but the first bit was more than I could manage.
Paul.
Probably a good idea Paul to outsource the trickier bits. As I said previously you’ve ended up with a slick intro to your videos.
Chris
Much appreciated Chris - a lot of YT channels have an intro - it can add a bit of pizzaz as long as it isn’t burdening or taking up too much time. (Mine is about 9 seconds - it started at 15 seconds but I just felt it was too protracted).
That said, there will be many that don’t particularly want to see them I suppose
Paul.
Some (probably most) video editing programs have simple, commonly used, bits-n-bobs that can be easily added. Things like the annimated YT subscribe button, and the like.
I find an asteroid shot, reversed in editing, can make a great intro to a video. Only thing is if there’s any movement in the shot ( ie, cars, people, animals etc) They’ll render as moving backwards in the 10 or so seconds of the intro clip .
Thats a great idea
Here’s what I mean by reverse asteroid shot.
Can also be used as an outro shot ( just don’t reverse it)
Like it
I can do that with mini 3 pro but not my Avata 2.
I think i may hava a couple i could use.
Ive done a cheat intro for now mixing Dji with some other vids
Ahh Dale Abbey and the Cat and Fiddle Windmill and the Hemlock Stone. Never realised you were fairly local. I used to live in Ilkeston so know the area well
Are you still local?
I tried looking on the map to see who was local but didnt see many.
Yep I live in Derby ( Sinfin)
