Tolworth Court Farm Fields - Added to Parks and Recreation in Kingston upon Thames, London

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

A quiet, open area with around ten large meadows, thick hedgerows, and some nice oak trees. Some of the meadows are pretty wild and don’t see many visitors.

The space is mostly used by dog walkers, but they’re easy to spot from a distance, making it a safe location for flying. It’s a public site within Kingston borough, which means no local bylaws restricting model aircraft use.

Plans are in place to convert the area into a wetland, which could make flying more interesting but may also draw more visitors.

Generally a nice area for local flying.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 08/06/2025. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location. Landowner permission may be required before taking off.

Could be a good place for a meet-up ?

Keep an eye on it… Having just read the site management plan, this appears …

6.11 Declaration as a statutory Local Nature Reserve will enable the formulation of bye-laws to cover Tolworth Court Farm Fields.

I’m happy to meet up if you can tolerate my kids.
I wouldnt say these meadows are worth much of a journey, but Winey Hill, which I added the other day certainly is.
