I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

4000×2250 3.15 MB

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

Parking in Weavers Reach. You can walk through to the field adjacent to the buildings.

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 01/09/2021. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Nice location, would be perfect for practice flights with the kids. Does anyone know if we need any sort of permission or we can just turn up and take off? Thank dor any insights :grinning:

I flew from the street. Previously I walked through the children’s play area into a field.

Just be aware that if the drone goes down, it might be hard to get it back.

Beware of thermals close to walls.

Apart from that enjoy.

There are no parking or take off and landing markers on the map at this location. Could anyone that has flown here or knows the area add some useful markers to the map, please?
