That is good news, I would love some of these but wear glasses with high correction of -9 so doubt if corrective are available but might just drop DJI email…happy viewing
With a template, there’s no reason that a local optician can’t make the relevant corrective lenses.
Great news @Aij615
Oh right didn’t know that, do these goggles have lenses? honestly never seen any so do not know how they are made up I will do some googling @OzoneVibe
I believe the correction lenses clip inside, somehow … although I’m uncertain as to where I saw that somewhere.
Just checked and yes up to +5 are readily available but you can get them made up, looking good so will look into this…cheers
I’ve got focus fixers in my goggles too @Sunseeker

I felt the same when I ordered my dji spark from slrhut.com
. The service been brilliant and really cheap too. Maybe I got lucky as paid through PayPal, spoke to them on phone and told them using PayPal to safeguard myself as never heard from them. They were fine with it.
Yeah brought me Mavic Pro Platinum through SLR Hut and same as you had never heard of them and was a fantastic deal. I ordered and paid for it there and then and bottom bottom line I received my drove from Memphis to the UK on a Sunday and received it on Thursday and that was with New Year’s Day as well on the Tuesday. Sent via fed-ex. Amazing service I had
It always pays you to purchase via Paypal, or a Credit Card.
As you have certain rights of purchase.
SLRHut also use a fake mailbox rental address from Mailbox Rental Vauxhall | Parcel Delivery Vauxhall - Mailboxes Etc
I’m guessing both these firms are run by the same bloke
Guys what is the little Ariel thingy for on the DJI goggles ‘RE’. It comes with the goggles and is screw on to the goggles as optional
I’m using them with the Mavic Pro so I’m guessing I don’t need this Ariel - is that correct ?
The antenna is for 5.8Ghz analogue, racing drones etc.
Thanks pal, so I don’t need this on for pairing with my Mavic Pro then
I wouldn’t have thought so. Occusync antennas should be built in.
I have been told it does need to be put on or or it will do damage, I haven’t used mine much but when I do I put it on just in case.
Now hang on, I thought that too, but I saw a you tube where guy said DJI confirmed the Mavic uses both the internal and that external aerial!
I now always put the external one on.
That’s bloody washing powder!, this is an aerial !
If you have an antenna and you do not attach it, you will burn out the transmitter/receiver for sure.
Thats not the case.
Transmitters always need an antenna attached as without it, the energy produced can’t be converted to RF, causing permanent damage.
Receivers like goggles don’t produce any energy and can be run without antenna all day long.
