The pair utilised large sophisticated Unmanned Ariel Vehicles (UAV’s) and flight mapping and control software to convey packages which included a significant quantity of Class A and B drugs, prescription medications, smart phones, memory cards, data dongles and tobacco.
it looks like it’s missing the operator id. do they not know it’s against the drone code to be flying a drone without an operator id?
shocking!
who’d a thunk they would not be following the rules and flying without an operator id, above a flight restriction area without permission of a prison, probably outside of visual line of sight and dropping things from a UAV, less than 50m from buildings, residential and commercial spaces (as it looks to be quite loaded and I’m sure they had an A2cofc)
man! what is the point of having all these rules if they are not going to be followed, even more so with the possible requirement of remote id.
like driving a car without numberplates or false plates with total disregard of all those road rules and laws.
why have those rules if only the good guys follow them, what’s the point of having them?
imagine the paper and time we’d save without them but it would be like the wild west where the bad guys do whatever they want carry guns , knives and wear masks, and ride horses or drive stolen cars like bonny and Clyde (oh wait that’s what the bad guys still do! damn!)
