Ulverston Canal - Added to Rivers and Canals in North West

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission not required.

The Ulverston Canal is a 1.25 miles (2 km) ship canal that connects the town of Ulverston, Cumbria, England with Morecambe Bay. The waterway, which is entirely straight and on a single level, is isolated from the rest of the UK canal network. It was built so that maritime trading vessels could use the town's port.

Easy parking right next to the canal mouth @ ///costly.promote.solicitor

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 27/11/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.

Visited Manjushri Buddhist centre near Ulverston, just wish I’d known about this industrial gem !

Took the train to Ulverston to walk along the canal, fantastic day for it and got so close to a swan sat on their eggs, right by the path. Great pub/restaurant at the bay end with benches by the old lock.

A few more photos of the location
