Spent a day in Venice recently and was quite surprised by the contrast between the beautiful architecture and the crumbling infrastructure that is plagued by tourism, sinking buildings and flooding. Despite the latter it’s worth a visit… just once IMO.
Always wanted to go to Venice, more so after the later film Italian job was filmed there 
I doubt I’ll be going now tho, not on my own anyway
