VERY order declined for AIR3S

On Monday I placed on order with VERY for an AIR3S, they had stock but today my account page says they have declined the order with no reason given
Has anybody else had this problem?

BTW I had passed the credit application questions so it shouldn’t be a money thing.

Are you trying to use a discount code? I remember people over on Hot UK Deals having a similar issue.

Well, they decided to close my account due to me having too many mobile phone numbers registered to me :scream::man_shrugging::man_shrugging:
They’ve reinstated it, actioned the order and applied the 20% discount code so all good in the end,
But I do wish they had had the manners to tell me, I’d had no correspondence/emails etc. from them since placing the order three days ago

I had the same last year when I ordered an Avata 2, order was fine then cancelled with an email stating stock issues about a week later.

Don’t think i’ll be rushing to buy from them again

I had exactly the same issue a month ago when purchasing a Mini 4 Pro. Bear in mind that I have a high credit rating, no bad debts, and only use a credit card that is paid in full each month, there is absolutely no reason to refuse credit. They initially called me to validate the purchase (standard security), which I was told I passed, but then I saw that the order stated ‘declined’ the following day. When I called them I was told that it was due to credit (as I’d signed up to the Very Pay to get the 20% discount). I was shocked, as I’d never been declined credit before. They said that they would be writing to me with more detail (I assume to get me off the phone). That letter never came.

My wife actually made an astute observation - it may be because my credit rating is high that I was refused. These guys push their credit offerings hard, so clearly make a lot of money off it. They won’t be making any interest out of me, so clearly don’t want to lose 20% on a high-value sale. I suspect I’ll never hear from them, given that it’s been over a month now, but it does leave a bad taste. Won’t be using Very again.

Also got a 600 plus credit rating and have an account with them with way more credit than was required. Probably more to do with the discount codes than anything
