well done on Part 2 :+1: This thread of yours has got me thinking - while we drone pilots are still allowed to fly relatively untethered, we should make an effort to catalogue the magnificent Victorian engineers and workers who built the bridges, viaducts and canals. If everyone did around their area we could have some serious ground covered.

Thank you for your comments.

Thank you for looking and commenting. That’s a good idea. I have been thinking of trying to get next to the large viaduct, getting a goods train travelling over it and also flying through the arches and along the line of ‘holes’ in the struts.

Those “holes” are interesting as they don’t appear on many others - there are indents and a different brick pattern but not holes. Just shows that the engineers also had an aesthetic bent too.
Capturing a train coming towards you would be fantastic from a distance, to really give the idea of the scale of that viaduct. The Victorians learnt a lot from the Romans in terms of huge scale builds.
Excellent stuff.

I think I might try that shortly Ted. You are right in that it would show the scale of the structure. The dog would like the walk there too (if I can manage to keep her out of the canal lol)

That is a great shout @silverfox682!

Ha Ha Ha @Mavic2Pro  But that would be some shot if you could capture the moment with traction on the tracks :steam_locomotive: :railway_car: :railway_car: :railway_car:

I will give it a try
