I used to play in Vicki Park as a kid! Memories!! 
Back then it also had a Lido…
Trouble is, I had never been to this place before in my life I just used Google Maps to direct me to nearby lake and when I approached the gate on the main road I looked for Do’s and Don’ts rules to see if drones were not allowed, and they were more concerned about banning open fire BBQ’s and ball games…
but when I was leaving through another gate closer to the car park I saw this sign…
I now feel guilty because I saw that sign well after I flew the drone even if it was only a less than 5 min flight, it was still not allowed and had I seen that sign at the entrance I wouldn’t have bothered at all.
Don’t feel too bad, I flew from a Tower Hamlets park a few months ago. To be honest knowing that borough extremely well, they are more concerned about anti-social behaviour along with drunks and druggies in their parks.
