Video playback on DJI Mini 4 Pro not working - Codec needed?

Hi guys sorry to ask, video on mini 2 easy to down load and playback but just got the mini 4 pro tried two vidwos brought home put on ipad and computer and video says codec needed ??? Any ideas anyone please

You probably recorded in h.265 not h.264?

Powerup the UAV, click or finger the 3 dots at the top right corner of the screen, finger camera, then colour “Normal” coding format select H.264.

Hope that helps…

Even if you only do a test video recording in your living room this evening (you won’t even need to take off in order to test this) :smiley:

So set the drone up done as said three dots could I find were the colour was on camera so will try again lol

Try using a different program in which to view your videos.

Not sure about the ipad but on a PC get VLC player, it plays most things you throw at it.
The files from my Mini 4 are coded in H.265, windows media player does not cope well but VLC takes it in its stride.

What was the issue? and how did you sort it?

Changed to H.264 and it worked. So im happy with that… thank you for your help mate appreciated
