Video Record limit?

Once again taking some tentative steps with my new Mini 3 and thought I’d see what 4K footage looked like, so had a trip down the local park
Impressive little machine but all my videos stopped at 5min 27 secs
(and then restarted recording by themselves ?? not sure :thinking:)
Is there a recording limit set into the hardware or is it something else ?
As I mentioned; recording set at 4K 25 fps onto a Sandisk Extreme Pro 256 Gb V30
Each clip ended at 4.09 Gb except the last one (which may have been when I landed) and that one was 900mb and was unreadable on my Mac.

I wonder if it maybe something to do with the formatting of the SD card.
I have never formatted it and simply popped it in the slot and hoped for the best.

It will create consecutive files if they reach 4GB … but there should be no lost frames.

Probably didn’t stop recording before powering off the drone.

This can usually be rectified by putting the SD card back in the drone, powering up, and then powering down again.

And always format the card inside the drone
