On the Avata it seems that the recording stops either when it does the Impact Detected or the motors stop because its rotated too far over - thats my experience of it at least - so most of my crashes with the Avata is a bit of a blur at the moment of impact and then nothing - so none of that dramatic roll / plumet stuff 
Not sure if the Mini 3 Pro does the same thing as I have been lucky not to have binned that one yet haha

Plenty of blurry roll & plummet from the last 10 seconds of my Mini 2 SE’s life following a seagull mobbing attack. The screen freezes as signal is lost when it hits the water.
Yeah it was pretty hard.
One of them immediately displayed a warning to replace props in the goggles.(they were fine).
Can’t see that warning in the log though as it seems that terminates on impact too.
