Visiting London to see Tower Bridge

I had to go to London for work so I took my Mini 2 to keep me company

Pretty much everything I wanted to photograph was covered by a no fly zone and on the way home I ended up stuck on the M11 for a couple of hours

Yeh London is a pain that way, but East of the tower bridge is good to fly from Hermitage Riverside Memorial Garden. Tower Hamlets Council does not permit TOAL from their Parks or Open Spaces, however the Hermitage Riverside Memorial Garden is NOT listed as a Tower Hamlets Park or Open Space. I’m guessing that’s where you took the pictures from.

Having made the enquiry directly to LBTH, it most certainly isn’t. :blush:

That was where I took off from
I was surprised there wasn’t a load of tourists there because it seemed like the best view from Google maps

You still managed to get some cracking shots. It is a shame but due to the risks associated with let’s say less law abiding citizens you can understand why the NFZ are in place !

Thankfully it’s away from the tourist beaten path. And long may it continue to be.
