Oh don’t bother with a compass. Any cheap m10 will do

They now say you don’t need a compass for INAV 7.1 but then they say it’s better with
I’ll still be fitting compasses
Believe 7 doesn’t need compass anymore. Struggle to get compass working on a 5 inch I believe

There’s a slightly less knowledgeable iNav man trying to work it out Definitely better with Compass, but yeah 7.1 deals without one better on quads. FTR I don’t use compass on wings at all (lot easier to disable it even if have it), never used iNav on a quad. Bardwells, that a 10 inch? easier to get that 2inch seperation requried by looks of things?
Yes, separation and alignment is the key
Interesting to read in the comments how many people have success with screening the wires.
I’ve always been a bit sceptical but will give it a try on my 7”. It does seem to have enough people saying it works.
…. and my quads will always have a compass fitted still
Agree, I don’t put compass on INAV wings but I do on Arduplane it handles them properly
Order placed. .

soldering
In theory better for motor changes just crimp wires together!
