Washington F-Pit museum, Sunderland - Added to Historic Buildings in North East

I have just added this to the map of places to fly your drone at Drone Scene:

Land owner permission requirements unknown.

There are not many traces left of the north-east coal mining industry, so Washington F-Pit is worth a look. Sadly it's opening hours are limited, and when it does open the outside area is not usually in play. Enter the drone…
Free parking is available at what3words: ///being.slang.veal
The car park is where the F-Pit boilerhouse used to be.
TOAL from public area adjacent to the museum. Take a look at Albany park while you're there too, it used to be part of the colliery grounds…

The originator declared that this location was not inside a Flight Restriction Zone at the time of being flown on 12/09/2022. It remains the responsibility of any pilot to check for any changes before flying at the same location.
