As I say - it’s only when you try to fly it that it tells you the spacing is too large.
More than once I’ve prepped a mission at home and got to TOAL with a failed upload and had to play about on the small screen to add waypoints.
The reason we stopped allowing direct uploads was more around the codecs and various file types that would and wouldn’t play nicely on xx device.
YouTube and Vimeo are so accessable and (for most users) free that its a no brainer, anyone who has any hangups about Google/YouTube and their data handling might want to have a read about DJI and their ethics (there are a few threads on that too) but thats for another time

The Litchi app can not be used directly on the mini 5 pro.
Waypointmap looks attractive because it will automatically create grids to fill polygons etc, so could be good for surveying an area. I tried the free version (I don’t like subscription software) and compared it to a similar, but manually laid out Litchi plot:
