The Gloup is a sea cave whose roof has collapsed leaving an opening to the sky. It’s found on Deerness, the easterly part of Mainland Orkney. Is there something more though?

I got to the end and thought there might be a sequel.

Thanks @Sandbagger and @OzoneVibe ! There’s plenty of scope for a sequel. I forgot to look at the sea end, which shouldn’t be too hazardous on a nice day, and surely some idiot will try to fly through it one day?
