Were your Dji Mini 4 Pro batteries delivered flat and installed in the charger?

Someone please tell me if this is normal:

I received my new Dji Mini 4 Pro Fly More combo, opening the package I noticed it came all in one box with all the parts and accessories stuffed in the black carrier bag. Drone / Controller and the intellingent charger with 2 batteries fitted inside and the 3rd battery in the drone, spare props and screwdriver all in the same bag.

All 3 batteries were flat to zero charge as was the RC2, Is that normal?

I was surprised to see the battery left inside the charger becase I was always told that it’s a no no, you mustn’t keep charged batteries in the intelligent charger to avoid swelling etc. But in this case they were totally flat

I have always been told that these batteries must not be fully run down to zero charge as this might damage them, my question to those who bought a similar Mini 4 wirth fly more kit, were your batteries also flat and fitted inside the charger?

Thanks in advance for your helpful replies

They were in hibernation mode, all DJI batteries are shipped like this

@SparkyFPV

I see… but the Mini 2 and Mini 3 Pro came with partially charged batteries so this must be a new procedure then…

Cheers and solved!

No it’s not new always been this way

Always been like that. Once charger turns on it will wake them

Hi, a bit late to this thread but when my M4Pro with flymore arrived one battery was in the drone and the other two were in the charger. All batteries and the remote required a top up charge out of the box. I didn’t have a fast charger at that time but I think 3 batteries in the charger (2-3 leds up) took about 2 hrs and the remote about 1 hour.

@Aljebu

yes mate same thing here, one battery in the back of the drone and the other 2 in the charger and all 3 as flat as a flat thing. :slight_smile:

Great username btw. :+1:

Cheers, yeah it was funny that it just came to me…mocking the name of that band that is now probably disappeared, I can’t even name one of their songs.

Still touring

Good for them

Something to talk about :coat: :door: :running_man:
