Don’t be daft mate. I’ve had it happen to me on a number of occasions and more often it’s been due to DJI rather than analogue interference.
Now I’m mostly digital it’s probably people like me that’ll cause the problem

It’s hard to tell from a still image how loose it is. But it looks like a wonky angle.
I’d have thought that you’d not want it to be moving at all.
When I had an MMCX on the Gecko it stayed still all the time unless you actually took the pigtail’s 3d print off…
BTW… I actually replaced the MMCX VTX on the Gecko with the Zeus because it had poor image… I’ve just looked at old and new footage and the new VTX definitely has helped.
I know, but I cbf to upload a video just for that.
Suffice to say, it moves completely freely from being flush with the casing to hanging out like that.
I think a new one is definitely in order.
Yes sounds like it to me!
yeah saw that myself. Also have you got a capacitor? Can’t see it, unless I’m being blind?
Next thing to consider is whether the VTX has been damaged by not having an antenna properly connected. Certainly running a VTX at high power without an antenna on at all will damage it.
Looking at the picture vs my VTX I would suggest that the connector has damaged the vtx. On mine that part should not move let alone pivot(forwards) like @Earwig 's appears to do so.
The fact that it may not have been connected correctly could also be a contributing factor
Well, it’s been a while since I did any drone shopping so I’ve now got various bits and pieces on the way (you can never have too many props).
Also, I’ve just seen this:
I think that may be a secondary camera I’d be willing to strap to my machines.
Since my Peanut is winging it’s way to China for repair and may be out of action for a while, I’ve ordered two thumbs…
I went with a quick & cheap fix as a first attempt.
Had a quick whizz around Willington this afternoon and the difference is night and day. It’s so much better having at least a little confidence that you’re not suddenly going to be plunged into darkness.
Still managed to ditch it under one of the towers though. And when I came to change the battery I noticed I’d lost the buzzer…
But of course, it was beeping away to itself, not far from where I recovered the quad.
Unfortunately, the disarm button is broken, so it’s now beeping away to itself in the boot of the car.
