Dji mini 4k, looking for a drone that will return home, follow me around and is quite nifty. not bothered about Aerial photography too much but i want some, not looking for it to go very high or far and needs to be under 250g. will the Dji’s do rolls or flips ? Not looking for a stunt drone thats too fast, and must look cool

You will not get this on a mini 3 or mini 4k due to lack of sensors.
Mini 4 pro be cheapest to do this and quite nifty in sports mode and FPV settings quite good.
Rolls and flips it’s not as simple as it sounds, you can have as much fun with a neo 1 or 2 depends on your finances, it will be possible to do rolls and flips after practicing on SIM on the computer you can then use fpv controller loosening the spring tensions to go into acro mode with goggles.

My 4 year old grandson fly’s mini 4 pro without any problems and uses RTH but the little fuffer knows how to start rotors and stop rotors manually 
we both race eachother with the Neo’s and he is fast and goes full speed under chairs through tree gaps and gazebos, I’m on the lawn mower in a world of mine next moment my big nose is nearly took off by the neo
Trust me you be confident by second flight.
Tips make sure your in open space hit the take off tab let it hover until you hear home point updated then go up high and just fly around getting used to the control sticks then simply hit the home button and watch it return home safely to the spot you took off from without worrying about controlling sticks after few runs like this your be good.

Got the DJI flip. Got the automated features of the neo, but the full flight capability of the monis, but the video capability of the 4 pro.
It’s an excellent beginner with the possibility to do more as you grow with it… Also some great deals to be had at the moment.

Hi,
there isn’t an Atom 3. the latest is the Atom 2 and in my opinion it’s the best drone on the market given it’s price.
If you do a search and compare the Atom 2 with a Mini 4 or 5 you’ll probably go for the Atom given that’s it’s a 1/3 of the price of the DJI.
Had mine for a while and not disappointed.

Been reading some really bad reviews, about defective drones and customer service being unhelpfull, so not sure but thanks for your reply as they look like a good deal.
I had a problem with the controller when I first bought it but Potensic support replied within minutes of me sending the email and said they’ll get a replacement sent out.
Replacement arrived the next day and they collected the old one.

thats good to know, i think the reviews i saw were not uk and probably quite dated, how does it handle in the wind please ?
It handles really well.
Not been out in a full blown gale but I imagine no drone in this range can handle winds over 25mph
