I hadn’t noticed that.
I think it looks like an Eye lol

I think it looks like an Eye lol
Would of made a good entry for the 400ft below RTF comp
I was thinking the same Deano like a close up of a robot eye
Its worth way more than that. It is top class and could be sold for dosh.
Nah lol its not that good
@DeanoG60 beautiful images there.
What settings did you use as I have the same drone MA2 and tend to use the auto mode.
They where the RAW images and edited with snapseed the Mavic Air2 has the option to shoot JPEG and RAW the JPEG settings where on Auto but I was taping the screen to focus the exposure and using the histogram to makesure the exposure was OK.
The exposure is damn near perfect, well done.
Thanks, the Mavic Air2 is an absolute beast of a drone and capable of capturing some stunning images. Even for a noob like me who has absolutely no photography knowledge what so ever other than what I’ve picked up from being a member here it’s also extremely solid in the wind as I found out today with 30+ mph winds
@DeanoG60 …Just out of interest do you use 12mp or the 48mp option , I read that more mp doesn’t always result in better quality images
Just the 12mp witch could acount for the distorted towers that @Steviegeek pointed out. Could be due to the way it crops down the sensor size.
@DeanoG60 …I see what @Steviegeek has mentioned about distortion , both outer edges of the outside towers appear irregular which I imagine is the lens edge distortion , but hey I know very little about photography , heard or read that term though
Could well be using every inch of a round lens I guess you’re going to get some fisheyeing lol
Or it could just be an optical illusion and perspective. As the angle that the photo is taken the left edge of the round tower is closer to the drone than the right edge.
@DeanoG60 …The photography wizards will put us right in good time in the meantime your producing some excellent images and amazing edits …well done
Deano have you checked the raw image to see if that is the same?
Yeah, just checked the RAW images are the same. I think it’s perspective.
Is it lens abberation or human eye illusion ???
I think it’s because they are in a V formation but we’re looking at them head on. So perspective kicks in the right side is nearer than the left size and due to perspective the left side being further away looks smaller than the right side because it’s nearer so it looks bigger. Optical Illusion
