HAHAH Chris in the non 360 edit there is an astro or two in it haha - effects like the tiny planet seem to get stripped from the 360 pano version of the export

I was always interested in towers when I was young. I am not sure what I expected in them but I was pretty shocked when I first found out how little there is inside.
Thanks for doing the video, still love seeing drones in places like this. Well done/

This is not how they look when they were operational - I think one of the towers still have the condenser elements still in it - might get brave and try and fly as close as I dare to that. But yeah normally you cant fly from the bottom to the top as it looks a bit like this —
So what happens the water from the river is heated up to make steam for the turbines in the turbine hall of the power station. The hot water then comes to the tower to the top bit of it and its sprays out into the tower and the cool air drafting up the tower will cool the water down and then the cooler water lands on the bottom of the tower and then goes back to the river again.
There is some cracking photos from on site here of one of the towers and you can see what was in them and how hard it would be to just fly inside
