Seems a little overkill to me… and seriously over engineered.
I understand the need for such a device but surely there is a simpler way.

At every single meetup I’ve ever been to where wings are being flown, the automatic launching device is called a “@stevesb”

It first flight before a wing has been (auto) tuned. That’s when I would use it.
The most critical (hand) launch and hence on occasions the pressure has got to me and I end up over throwing adding roll or too much up-tilt [Not enough of these tips - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-6Xdv6iku0 ]
But then again it is another thing to carry.
