Worth it or scam?

A guy on my local FB marketplace is selling all this for £400 a friend advised me to post on here and check it’s worth it just in case

@Steviegeek @GunjaFPV what’s your thoughts on this? Seems like pretty old tech to me for 400 notes

Pic 4 of 6 shows baby milk formula in the background. I guess someone got new priorities.

It’s pretty dated stuff, I think. And what’s with all the 1s batteries? I don’t see a whoop anywhere.

Thanks for all the help bud he is willing to come done to £350 and he seems to think the goggles are still worth £200 on the second hand market to are £225 brand new from my research

Absolutely I think that’s the situation I should not tell he is willing to come down to £350

Search the photos through Google lens see if they appear any where else

If you like the hobby, only the goggles you can continue to use with analogue quads. The radio is dated (and won’t work with anything new you get really), I believe the dominator V3’s OK analogue goggles, but again they old…

Quad looks… Strange!

You flown much FPV yet? SIMs, etc?

I have a Mambo TBS and have flown Sims here and there I am relatively new to the hobby and how to the quads look “strange”?

Is the rapidfire module included in the deal?

Just dated. That’s all. Pro ably can’t replace anything on those. A BnF isn’t too expensive there days. Such as a baby ape. Get ok analogue goggles and controller for less

Yes it is

Have done and doesn’t look like it

that’s still £162 new. :+1:t2: but it is still old tech.

I get the impression he’s based his prices off of brand new…

I’d say so.

Not worth half of what is being asked.

Save your money. You’ll only have to buy most of this again

And why’s that?

Thing with this hobby, is you break stuff… FPV, stuff breaks easy! You can’t send off to DJI for repair with care refresh. So knowing HOW to repair, and build, and getting STOCK (even on the new stuff is hard), is important.

When I started I got a Emax TinyHawk (which is long gone), but… I did buy a decent radio which supported ELRS for example and OpenTX. I’m still using the same radio 3 years later. That radio you WILL not be using for anything new if you enjoy the hobby as a lot of us do.

The goggles… They probably the ONLY thing you’ll use going forward. The charger is old and poor (you can get decent ones for 20/30 quid), the radio is old and doesn’t support ELRS, the quad… let’s hope it works. Batteries, well they go off anyways, especially if not looked after, so second hand batteries are worthless TBH (unless you buy from me, as I look after them, lol)

If I was selling that… £150 maybe. I’d feel rude to charge any more. Maybe he can sell the goggles separately for a bit more, fine, the rest… Unfortunately, like an 8 year old android phone… Not worth much!

Hmm okay I don’t think he’s gonna take kindly to me asking him to come down to £150 lol
