Surely there must be a degree of illegality here? taking pot shots at anything is, when I went to school, still illegal.
But back to the original question, as tempted as i would be to fly there, I probably would not with the knowledge of the potential risk.

The longer this has no specifics the higher the chance it being tripe. I concur. (love the word, tripe. My old dad used that regularly back in the day)
Apologies for the delay - yes it was in Frome or Nunnery to be precise.
It seems that the flyer might well have taken off either from the NT property or even from the homeowner land. Which did not help.
The alleged incident now been reported to the police apparently.
I have had a dialogue with the drone flyer and I have no reason to doubt his story. I have let him know re NT property.
I think sadly it did happen.

I was a bit nervous if I am honest.
Slowly building confidence, but I was physically shaking taking the shot! 
There will probably be a report on Facebook local group of a suspicious person in the village around dawn!
