So I plucked up the courage for DJI rooting and WTFOSing. And fell at the 1st hurdle, what a surprise.
DJI Goggles V1 new firmware ends 0608.
Having connected the goggles with usb C cable, I get a message about failing to detect ADB … re (re) root your device.
I tried rooting again and again, nothing happens!
What’s going wrong?
Use butter
Will bring it down to the right version. Once you rooted you can update to whatever version you like and then install WTFOS (any official updates remove wtfos, but you are always rooted}

You need 608 for the wasp, but butter will take it to 606. Once rooted then update to 608 and install WTFOS
Ok… I did the butter thing, seemed to work. Now I’ve got ‘awaiting OSD’ in the goggles display…
Sounds right for the goggles. Done the vista/air unit?
And enabled mspdisplay on the vista from the WTFOS settings?
It’s all such a massive tech blur now… but its good question- I’ll check!
