Yorkshire & Humberside Meet - Hull - Sunday 10 September 2023

An early start yesterday but the footage more than makes up for it and the friendliness and fun had was without price…

This is our first piece of edited footage, from the other side of the bridge and early doors.

Thanks Chris wish I had filmed in 60fps now, that single bird would have really looked smooth…

should think so, considering the size of the bloody fan you had above you

And if you notice, when flying with the doors off I generally make left-hand turns not right - that’s so that it’s the passenger (my Mrs in this case!) falls out first if they’re not strapped in properly

Humber Bridge, Hull - September 2023

And finally after a busy week a chance to edit the rest of the footage from last weekend’s Hull trip, this is the rest of the Humber bridge footage, just leaving some footage of a ‘bando’ to do yet…

Footage from both AIR3 and MINI3 Pro, and all at 30fps, no frame rate changes, can you tell which is which?

Very nice Suzanne, smooth shooting, great editing.
I don’t think I’ll bother with my footage now :slightly_frowning_face: LOL

As regards which drone filmed which bit, I feel that with this low sun lighting and early time of day the level of clarity is ‘light dependant’
A “reasonable” camera can produce some clear dramatic images with direct sun and a “super expensive” can produce flat uninteresting images in dispersed lighting.
Dare I say, it’s the photographers skill and artistic ability that produces the superior filming :running_man: :running_man:

Thanks Steve, appreciate the comment on my flying and editing…

Definitely want to see everyone’s footage, its not a competition, and we all take inspiration from everythign we see, so please do shae your footage…

Yeah, the quality of images is pretty consistent, the only real giveaways are the speed of flight andf ascent, and the zoom parallax effect, plus some of the dighital zoom - given the height and winds I was impressed that a 27x digital zoom produced such steady footage…

Thanks Mick, tbh there was loads of room between the pillars, and I had a good look first as to whether there was any wire, so it wasnt too scary. I did fly from the shore to them, but there was a slight wind from the right which blew the drone off course a little, so had to put some fly right in on the right stick, thankfully not too noticeable on the video, but would have been better if I had been perfectly lined up…

I should have used the AIR3 for the tracking shots alongside the bridge, with 48mph I would have kept up with the cars better
