…At the time I was a deck cadet, at the helm qualifying for my ‘steering certificate’. Just passing Circular Quay about to pass under Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Great ship, great crew 
Unusally in the tanker trade, when we got alongside the tank farm was full to capacity so we had a nine day holiday tied up alongside whilst they made space for us to discharge cargo. Spent some wonderful days sunning myself on Manly Beach
