I’m just wondering what each of you would consider as your 2 favourite places to film and/or fly in the UK?
For example, I see the Kelpies have popped up a few times.
I’ve fancied flying the Grain Tower in the river Medway, but haven’t got around to it yet.

I’ve flown it 3 times last year. A great location.

Tower Bridge seems to reign supreme
Have you added them to your personal map on Drone Scene of places you want to fly?

Hmm, Callanish Stones on Lewis have to be the best spot and best footage I have got - Autumn sunrise was stunning…
Pretty much anywhere on Skye, Quirang, Fairy Pools, Old Man of Storr, Neist Point, lots of waterfalls and stunning scenery - if the weather plays ball!

Did you fly from the shore or walk/wade out at low tide?
From the shore line. It’s not worth getting your boots muddy for as you can have a perfect flight from the land side.

Clew Bay in Co.Mayo is a brilliant place to fly a drone as is Achill island.
Top of Croagh Patrick is a place I’d love to fly my drone from.

For me anywhere in the Rannoch Moor/Glencoe area and a tie for number 2, Glasgow Clydeside (as it’s close by) and Stirling Castle/Wallace Monument.

My top one is in my garden ..
.. but at only 300m from the threshold of an international airport, applying for FRZ permission is probably a rather pointless waste of time.
