360 Video Test (Mavic 2 Pro and Insta 360 One X) - Skipsea Beach

Mounts are available to do this yes, but due the shape you would have to hand launch/catch it.

of course, used to doing this anyway

are they just available on amazon/hobby mounts?

just seen the previous posts cheers

Looks well enough made, also it makes the M2P look very very contented.

Just need a break in the rain to give it a whirl.

thinking that will work as a catch handle as well

thanks

That’s the plan, chain mail gloves and all that

Have you done any more testing/playing with this @milkmanchris?
I have been thinking of getting one recently.

Got the mount and it’s unusable, just vibrates like a vibrating thing even in the slightest of wind.

The camera itself is a fantastic bit of kit and top mounted as the original tests works really well.

Camera comes into its own when attached to a bike or car or just handheld.

The search for a decent (different) way of mounting it continues

Do you have to use a particular selfie stick for it to be invisible or will any others work?

There seems to be nothing special about their own branded one so I’d guess any will work, I’ll test it and let you know

Thank you Chris.

I’ve just found out that as long as the stick is directly underneath the camera it won’t show, so any generic stick will be hidden from video and photos.
