50% Increase on Adobe Monthly Software Plans in 2025

It decreased!

Oh yea I forgot how comes only £8,32

No idea - but I’m not complaining. :stuck_out_tongue:

I bet your not lets hope April is the same :crossed_fingers:

I’m hoping it goes down more. :stuck_out_tongue:

You mean so they actually start paying you

Maybe not a 50 % increase but Adobe are changing their plans again, whilst only in the USA at the moment but apparently coming into effect here next year so just a heads up - worth checking out your plan if your an Adobe customer / user .

As long as the student plan is still around

Was going to get my lad to sort that for me whilst or when he was at college but I totally forgot about it ….. ah well .

Adobe software is OK, but I find there are some nice alternatives if you do want to save some cash.

For those using Premiere Pro, I’d say Davinci Resolve is worth a look, nice to have software that’s avaliable without a monthly subscription.

It’s tricky to find an equivelent to Photoshop however, GIMP is getting better, but it’s still quite a different experience.

I guess it had to happen eventually ..

:frowning:

Ah yes
When I had to re download all my stuff the other day ‘ Adobe cloud etc ‘ I see this & was meant to mention it but forgot .

Best bet is to buy an annual plan via Amazon.

Unfortunately the price went back up at midnight. But it will reduce again soon.

I keep getting a “nag pop up” to enter my credit card details if I want to continue using their software, every ime I restart Lightroom.

I bought an annual plan off Amazon in December. They say they are no longer supporting discounted plans and will only be able to get direct fro Adobe. They don’t say when this change comes into effect, from the tone of it you’d think immediately, however as I’m continuing to use Lightroom without issue it’s likely from when my plan expires in December. I was hoping to obtain another discounted plan this December coming, but looks unlikely so it will be aurevoir Adobe.

If you are doing Video Davinci Resolve is free, paid version is £300 or so. It’s excellent software free and paid, been using it a few years.

You can also color grade photos (unless they are raw would need converting first.)

The posts above all relates to the Adobe Photographer Plan .. that doesn’t include Premier, so DR (that many of us use, including myself) really isn’t an alternative option

I do video so DV works well for me, photography I use Photoshop but have used DV too.

I use both, but restrict PS to photos and DV for video. Having said this, I do use still grabs from DR and they have needed little in the way of colour grading, tone etc adjustments in PS.

Not seen this to be honest yet.

Just wondering if you can stack plans. I do it for MS office.

I had the same email a couple of months ago. I instantly hit the cancel subscription button. :+1:t2: They lost me as a customer along with a fair few others I’d imagine, not a great business move in my eyes.
