I have other software that’s LR dependant .. so it’s going to be another £200 thrown away if I leave. Tough decision.
Same here, I’ve been paying £9 / month for nearly 10 years, then they increased the monthly subscription by 50%, hence why created this thread as a warning.

The 20GB plan is no longer available, you have to buy a 1TB plan.
It’s actually worse than this because Adobe now enforce your quota of AI operations. If you’re a heavy AI user you will also need a Frirefly subscription.
Actually - that’s effectively only a 5.2% annual inflation rate, over the 10 years … which, after only 3 years for me, I’m trying to decide what to do.
If it stays at £15 for another 10 years, that will probably seem OK in a few years.

The whole idea of Lightroom is to edit Raw STILL images rather than relying on in camera auto processing you get with jpegs which you have minimal scope for editing.
Yes understand I have lightroom just saying Davinci is free if you do video or can’t justify lr price increases.
Likewise, but I’m just going to switch to the annual subscription because it says you can keep it at that rate if you switch to annual.
My email says the same .. but have you found out how to make that switch to annual? Just been looking at my Adobe account and can’t find that option.
@OzoneVibe I hadn’t tried it - so I went into manage account > manage plan and there should be an option to end the service or change plan (see screen shot from How do I change my plan?
But when I go into my account I only have the option to end plan. Mine doesn’t renew till 6th Aug so I don’t know if I have to wait until closer to the date.
Has anyone else managed to switch?

Same.- but they are refunding the 6 July payment.
Of course - the annual plan may increase next year … 
.. but it does delay the decision. 
Not often “happy” with online chat support - but that was probably the best in a loooong time.

Once I got past the bot, I got Vanisha (??) who has ended the monthly one and put me onto the annual. You are right it may well go up in price but I use Bridge and Camera Raw regularly. Only recentlly discovered I have access to Firefly so I’m interested to play with that too.

From a cursory glance through this thread, I didn’t see darktable or GIMP mentioned. Both open source alternatives to Lightroom and Photoshop respectively (and what I use having taught Lightroom and Photoshop in the past, and refusing to pay for them when I don’t really need them anymore)
