Here is the 7inch quad I bought a few weeks back second hand without Radio, or Video system…
I will document whats in it, and what’s going to go in it. Above photo is how it came, and the parts it came with:
- TBS Source One Frame V3, with 7 inch arms
- 4 x BrotherHobby Avenger 3008 1500kv motors (apparently not the norm for a 7 inch?!)
- ESC - T-Motor 4in1 6S 32bit (unknown, but think it’s this one: https://airblendersfpv.com/product/t-motor-f45a-4in1-esc/)
- FC - Matek F722-PX http://www.mateksys.com/?portfolio=f722-px#tab-id-2
- 2 battery straps
Will be adding:
- Caadx Vista with Nebula Pro
- Radiomaster EP1
- A lovely loud buzzer
- Lot’s of beautiful orange TPU
- GPS optional… maybe…
Will probably need to upgrade etc. Interestingly had a closer look at the FC the other day and the motor outputs from FC → ESC were on 1, 3 5 and 6 outputs… (there are 10 PWN motor/servo outputs on the FC, as this FC I believe is used a lot in wings/planes). Anyone have any guesses as to why (wiring diagram states 1 - 4 for multirotor). Asked the guy I bought from had he said had no idea, but probably best to leave it. Will check whether any resource mapping has been done before flashing (if I need to). Is there any way to get the default config from BF without flashing (I assume the “defaults” that are applied), so I could check before flashing…
Finally, I did fly this quad back in early summer as a “tester of 7 inch”, and asked after flying how I liked 7 inch… My reply “Sod that, I’m buying DJI…” was also the first DJI FPV I flew… heh!
Anyways, back to the 3d printer, and time to get this thing configured
