A quick intro from me - Birchington on sea Kent

Hi. A quick introduction. My name is Chris I am new to the club.
I have been flying drones for about 5 years now. Had a lot of different drones over the years. I am currently flying sub 250 gram DJI drones. Since the rules changed on where you can and can’t fly drones. I chose the sub 250 gram route. I really like these smaller lighter drones especially as they have such good cameras on them now days.
I would class myself as an intermediate skilled drone pilot and just recently started to fly FPV. Which I am very new too.
I still really enjoy line of site flying though.
I am now retired and enjoy all my free time with my drone flying hobby.
Look forward to meeting some of you out there in the near future.

We’re a well established club with many knowledgeable members so it’s very likely that any issues you come across will have been discussed here before. Our discussion forum has very powerful search features which should help you find what you need but if you get stuck you can post a new question in the Questions & Answers category.

And finally, if you are new to drones and wondering what it’s all about, have a look at Resources for a beginner.
