Thats what Farcefook is for ;o)
Article is behind a paywall but I canāt imagine anyone who is slightly clued up would be dumb enough to fly a drone around the COP26 summit, so if anyone gets their drone blown out the sky during that, they probably deserve it.
Thereās tons of posts on here where the drone code was probably broken or pushed to itās very limits, especially regarding VLOS & TOAL land owner permissions.
Itās very reasonable the people we donāt know could very well be aware of the rules, but have took a reasonable decision itās safe to push the limit. How many of us brake the speed limit in our cars every day and go unpunished.
If itās clearly obvious they are an idiot because they have form for it from lots of posts (whether thatās here, farcebook, youtube, insta) then go for it. I couldnāt help but comment to one guy on youtube that he might want to read up on the drone code after taking off and landing on a theme park car park and then flying it well out of VLOS all over the park over queues of people!!! Complete nutter.

Probably the same bunch that have been glueing themselves to various parts of the M25.
It means no loud bangs that could upset dogs, cats or wildlife

Drone saves drowning boy
Nice to see a drone getting recognised as useful in the press!
A pioneering drone lifeguard service rolled out across Spanish beaches saved the life of a 14-year-old boy this month as he struggled against a powerful tide off a beach in Valencia, its operators have said.
Underground drones.
Drones have been going underground to survey the sewers in Scotland.
Just read this on the BBC.
I assume not tethered so how do they keep signal strength meters underground?
Genuinely interested

Perhaps theyāre completely autonomous?
Either autonomous, or just dangle a repeater down the manhole would work I guess? Not anywhere much for radio waves to go once theyāre in a pipe
Hereās a new branch of the hobby: Underground Tunnel Droning !
Scottish Water says drones replace the need for workers to go into sewage pipes for inspections.
We (and the rest of the world) eagerly await your latest underground quadcopter videos.
PS
If you want to get your drone out again, please notice the protective cage.
