Well done Steve
And still we await the first fail.
Big up @Steviegeek ;o)
Thanks Chris,
I wonder if somebody did the exam with no training and using only their own common-sense how many would still reach 80%
Well done Steve. Almost exactly my experiece except desktop not laptop
Honest answer Steve, did you learn anything ?
Honest answer⌠Yes,
- Meteorology section of training was good
- Parts of âoperating principlesâ
- Parts of âlow flyingâ system
Glad I did it
Iâm suspecting this is more about setting a decent time slot so that the proctors earn something worth their while.
Yep, Iâd agree itâs a financial thing
I would believe this is to incorporate inclusion, making it open to everyone and not discriminating against disability

And, third and final, a hard hat. If youâve got all of those I doubt anyone will bother you.
Thereâs the perfect space in my new lowepro bag to fit a high voltage cattle prod, for those hard to placate nimbyâs.
Cheers fella
Has anyone tried these people?

Never even heard of that one before @Abacus
Check out the #members-only category, weâve a few discount schemes in place with well known (and member-recommended) providers.
My advice: donât dive straight into pro editing software like Final Cut Pro or Adobe Premiere, or even the marvellous free version of DaVinci Resolve. These are great tools but have so many bells and whistles that itâs hard to get started and easy to get lost.
Best thing I did was start with a basic plug & play/drag & drop tool like iMovie (for Mac). You can then be producing good, basic video within a couple of days. (I know people who became such good editors in iMovie that they continued to use it in a professional studio!) And since all the video editing programs use basically the same concepts to get the job done, you can move confidently onto one of the mega editors, which you will need to do for full control over colour grading especially.
Hey guys,
Would you say that is it worth completing the A2 Cofc course to get more fly rights with our Mavic air 2?
Also is there a good clear and easy diagram to refer to on what classes there are ?
@Acershean most of the questions you have asked recently have already been covered in great detail over recent months. Please try a few searches before starting a new topic.
Your post has been moved to the main A2 thread where you will find the answers you seek.
Also @Acershean try this:
Put in a few things you might like to do, with and without the A2 CofC qualification, and youâll get an idea whether it would help in your specific case.
Iâve found more benefit from my Article 16 permissions than from my A2 CofC.
Thanks @kvetner it looks like itâs worth the investment doing the course
Thanks for the link
I did the A2CofC and would recommend it , it was in their sale and I used the GADC discount code to make it even cheaper but you do learn a lot unless you already have years of experience, I found it also showed you different ways of looking at what you want to do , I must admit I am only in my second year of flying drones so I did take a fair bit away from the training, so I would recommend doing it .
