Me too but the link refers to an iOS problem
Symptoms are the same, and it’ll take no time to test so figured it’s worth a punt.
From what I’ve managed to figure out so far, doesn’t seem to be any way to get out of DJI Fly to the OS or any kind of Home Screen, so who knows what bodges and tweaks they’ve made in there.
I’ve had a few similar (but when swapping apps mid flights, which wont be your issue)
Are you in airplane mode or tethered to something ?
Close enough to the house to be on my home wifi - which is FTTP, so should be quick enough to get that flight log up in near real-time.
Try it without any connection
Will give it a whirl and report back
Hi there, anyone shed any light on the Air Data UAV. Anyone using this app?
Moved your post to one of the several threads you’d find about Airdata using the search.
Welcome to GADC, too.
Thanks for the feedback Mate.
Most of us
Its free with paid versions, if you buy don’t forget the GADC discount
Hi there, yes it looks very good software, just need sometime to sort it all out.
Ok, thanks mate, just trying to get used to this site and the Air Data UAV site. The Air Data site looks good, but its also a subscribe site so looking at all the benefits before any commitment.
There is a free option. This only limits you to reviewing your last 100 flights, and some of the more esoteric features aren’t available.
But …
- It gives you plenty of chance to try the fundamentals, and …
- it’s all most people bother with.
(Sorry - some of that had been mentioned. Just woken up and responded to notification. Didn’t realise is nodded off for so long.)
Looks like there may be some delays in uploading and processing new flight data as a result of the DJI policy to prevent automatic upload of flight logs in USA - patience required
I’ve been waiting 2 days!
I tried to upload 5 flight logs today and it’s still processing after an hour - is anyone else having delays?
I uploaded it on the advice of this site’s members after losing my Mini 2 SE to a seagull attack, and it is an amazing tool! I’m still exploring the features, but it seems to do pretty much everything I’m likely to need in the free version. I’m a bit worried about the ‘100 flight records’ limit, though; I’m guessing that means that once you get over 100 the oldest ones are wiped to be replaced by the new ones, which I can live with, but if it means you can’t upload any more after the hundredth, that’s not so good!
It has replaced my DroneUAV ‘good to fly’ forecast app, which I was paying for, and can do a huge amount more than that. I’m using Ventusky (again, on advice here) as my go-to weather app, for general weather forecasting as well as drone conditions.
I downloaded Airdata last Thursday, and it uploaded all of my flight history instantaneously as far as I could tell. Brilliant app!
Yes this is what will happen, so the free version always stays free and you can view your last 100 flights
I can live with that!
Or - like me - several free accounts on different email addresses …
